Components

Diode runs as a sidecar service to NetBox and can run anywhere with network connectivity to NetBox. To get started, the following components need to be installed and running:

1. Installing the Diode plugin - installed on the NetBox host
2. Running the Diode server - installed anywhere where Docker is available
3. Installing the Diode client - installed on the client where data will be ingested
